Forget Twitter. The new kid on the block is Woofer. Woofer is almost identical to Twitter, except the fact that it requires you to post no less than 1400 characters.
Why Woofer? Well, Woofer set out to be a fun off-shoot of Twiiter, with the main goal of advertising their main site called ShuffleTime. Their version of a tweet, a woof, must be 1400 characters long and has no character limit. They tell you to "be eloquent," "ese adverbs," and "DEA (don't ever abbriviate)."

What can you post to Woofer? Anything you want, and by whoever you want. Woofer has an option to link the woof to any Tweeter without verification. Obviously this is cause for fraudulent woofs (with people like George Bush, Sarah Palin, Ryan Secrest, digg, Abraham Lincoln and even God himself), but who cares! You get to say whatever you want without being limited!
