How do you get your lettuce dry after washing it? I encountered this problem today, and I was determined to solve it. However, I did not just want the age-old method of using a spinner to dry it. You know, those salad spinners where you push the button down and the contraption spins. Yea, no. I absolutely hate those things.
So I did some research on Google and found a few very interesting ways.
- Use a salad spinner (yuck!)
- Put it in a paper towel and dab it dry
- Use a dish rack
- Use a mop
- Shake it REALLY hard
- Put it through the spin cycle of your washing machine
- Spike it through your car antenna, and then take it out for a drive
- Use a ShamWow
- Freeze dry it
Those are just a few of the good results I have found. Here is some others, though they are not as good as the above.
- Use a washcloth
- Put it in the oven
- Put it in a SaladSac
- Put it in a pillow case and shake the wet out of it
- Use a blow dryer
- Throw it in the dryer for 30 minutes
