A bit of a shift today! I have successfully implemented the new layout of Randosity. It is not a massive change, per se, even though some major things were changed.

What happened? The most obvious change is the site's width has increased. The header has been revamped a tad, the navigation has changed, and internal affairs have been modified to run smoother. There are also minor changes, such as organization of things, that have changed as well.

Always a step closer. What do you think of the new layout?

I definitely like the new, rounder buttons. They look tons more polished. Maybe decrease the shine a bit on the nav? It's a little too much right now. Also, the nav hover buttons are a bit jaggy on the corners, which is probably caused by exporting them as transparent GIFs. Try using PNG's, they have smoother transparency. There's also a 10-pixel white gap at the top of my browser, so make sure the body/html margin and padding are 0. Also, while the buttons and graphics look nice, the content looks a bit boring. Spice it up a bit, with some graphics instead of just HTML and CSS.

Seeing as the message service isn't working I'll post this here:

On the 'Verify Your Account' page (the url in the activation email) it says "Whoohoo! You, $username, have officially been verified..."
It seems to show your username as $username, just thought I would let you know seeing as people might be mislead about their usernames.
