It's a privilege, not a right

RandBot here! The forum rules are established to keep the forum clean, safe, and fun for all. Depending on the rule your break, your punishment will range from a few hours up to several years. Personally, I would absolutely hate to see you leave for that seemingly incessant amount of time. So if it were up to me, you would not break these rules.

However, mistakes happen all the time, and forgiveness is something I excel at. So warnings will be issued for offenses occurring in singles and multiples, depending on whether or not you were trying to break the rules, or just simply forgot. But, the moderation team and I do, sometimes, leave no room for error. Therefore, you should check out this page every so often, just to make sure you have not missed anything new. On we go...

Forum Rules

Big Breakers

Yea, you will get banned for doing any of this stuff. No exceptions. "Posting" refers to your post message and your signature.

  • Attaching pornographic images (including all kinds of porn)
  • Posting "Not Safe For Work" (NSFW) text and/or images
  • Posting a link to pornographic or NSFW images or sites without warning us first
  • Posting a link to websites with malicious intent (i.e. viruses, bugs, worms, referral sites, et cetera)
  • Talking about attacking certain or multiple people, groups, organziations, businesses, establishments, websites, et cetera
  • Posting, discussing, or mentioning illegal activties outside of headline news
  • Using any kind of hateful or extremely offensive language (politcal incorrectness does not count and will not get you banned unless it is truly hateful)
  • Posting personal information of any user on any site without their permission
  • Ban Posting: posting on an alternate account either owned by you or someone else while any one of your accounts is banned. (That could cause deletion!)
  • Posting ridiculous short or irrelevant posts
  • Purposfully impersonating someone else besides yourself
  • Attempting to find or create a loop hole around the rules

Don't tempt the mods

You can still get banned for breaking these rules, you will just most likely get a warning first. I suggest you do not tempt the very lenient mods, though. Upsetting them may cause upset stomachs, temporary blindness from over-abundant awesomeness, annoyance, raging tempers and bad reputations. Once your banned, it stays on your permanent records. So do not do these things:

  • Using ridiculously poor grammar or unreadable text without cause
  • Posting a new topic with a terrible title that does not state what the message is about at all
  • Attaching an irrelevant picture to your post
  • Spamming on any level
  • Posting overused images or text
  • Posting excessively in another langauge besides English
  • Complaining or Showing off your bans anywhere
  • Site-plugging for the sake of advertisement. This is a community forum not a billboard
  • Posting the wrong content in the wrong forum. Read the forum description and post accordingly
  • Putting down others for any reason. Random, weird things are good. Discover, don't destroy
  • Being ignorant of the rules and breaking them at the same time
  • Posting something that has already been said or discussed in either topic or post
  • Not contributing positively
  • Disrespecting anyone at anytime for any reason
  • Breaking any of these rules in your signature or profile message
  • Attempting to find or create a loop hole around the rules

The rules are here for the benefit of everyone. If you do not like them you do not have to post. If you do post, try to be intellectual as possible. Use common sense. In other news, we are not perfect. No one is. So if there is an unresolved matter, please contact the user involved by means other than the forum. You have a private messaging system at your finger tips, and email is not dead yet. If you contact an administrator or hit up complain@randosity.com, they will try to get back to you as soon as possible, but understand they have lives too.

So whatever you do, have a good day at the forums!
